Children’s Programming Updates

Craft Kits for Ages 3-7 are available in the children’s department beginning December 1, while supplies last.  Kits include two wooded ornaments and markers for decorating. 

Storytime for Ages 3-5  meets on  Tuesday and Fridays at 11am inside the children’s department.  Children must be at least 3 years old and have the ability to sit independently for the 30 minute program. Registration and masks are required. Mother Goose on the Loose for ages birth-2 meets Wednesday at 11am in the meeting room and Mother Goose II for ages 2-3 meets on Thursday at 11am. Please note that registration is required for each class. Visit the library’s calendar to register.

Kindergarten Readiness Kindergarten  is a program designed for children ages 4-6 to help prepare them for the classroom experience. Children will explore literature, science, math and art as well as the social emotional skills they will need to successfully interact with their peers in a learning environment. Registration is required for each class. Parents are asked to remain nearby in the children’s department. 

Craft and Create with Miss Nora takes place Wednesday afternoon at 2pm in the library’s meeting room through December 15.  Children ages 3-6 with an adult caregiver are invited to drop-in for creative fun. No registration is required.
