Storytimes and Mother Goose programming will resume the week of September 21. Storytimes for ages 3-5 meet Tuesday and Fridays at 11am inside the children’s department. Mother Goose on the Loose for ages birth-2 meets Wednesday at 11am in the meeting room and Mother Goose II for ages 2-3 meets on Thursday at 11am. Music Monday with Principal Al takes place on September 13 and September 27 at 11am at the Newtown Community Center. This free music and movement program for toddlers and caregivers is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Space is limited and registration is required.
Celebrate International Dot Day on September 15. Peter Reynold’s book, “The Dot,” is the inspiration for a world wide celebration of community and creativity. Stop by the children’s room on Wednesday, September 15 from 10am-4pm and make your own dot inspired creation. No registration is required. For all ages.
Saturday Lego Club meets Saturday, September 25 at 11am in the library meeting room. Open to children ages 4-9. Create and build with the library’s extensive Lego collection. Parents must remain nearby, no drop-offs please. Register online.
