Volunteer at the Library
Applications for volunteers are closed for Summer 2024. Fall volunteer applications will be accepted starting August 31. Thank you!
Volunteers help the library in many ways! Volunteer tasks include writing book reviews, helping with programs, tidying shelves, and light clerical tasks. We welcome volunteers with different abilities and skills.
Volunteers are chosen according to their skills, the availability of supervision by library staff, and the needs of the library. To help students meet their required volunteer hours, we give preference to volunteers between the ages of 12 – 18. Are you over the age of 18 and interested in helping out the library? Please check out the Friends of the C.H. Booth Library for volunteer information.
Interested in lending a hand? Fill out the Volunteer Application and return it in person at the YA circulation desk or via email at ya@chboothlibrary.org!
The library cannot guarantee that the requested number of hours will be accomplished by a certain date. We cannot accommodate court mandated community service hours.
Questions? Please email YA Librarian Darcy Sowers at ya@chboothlibrary.org.
