Turkey Trot: 10th Anniversary Logo Design Contest

The C. H. Booth Library’s 10th Anniversary Turkey Trot Celebration Committee announces the start of a logo design contest to create a new brand in recognition of this year’s milestone event. The annual Newtown 5K Turkey Trot Road Race and fun walk is an annual benefit for the C.H. Booth Library. Held in the scenic and historic center of town on Thanksgiving morning, the Turkey Trot has become a community tradition and highlight for many families over the holiday weekend.

We are seeking designers to become a part of the Town of Newtown’s history by creating an event logo for the 10th Anniversary Turkey Trot Road Race!  “The Turkey Trot has grown to become one of the finest road races in the region and we are excited to celebrate its anniversary as an essential source of support for value programming at the library,” said Matt Mihalcik, Fundraising Chair, C.H. Booth Library Board of Trustees. “We welcome anyone with a creative eye and a passion for design to submit an innovative and professional logo concept.”

A panel will select the winning logo, which the library will recognize in its communications including the library’s website, social media channels and in a press release. The winner will also be invited to a public unveiling of the logo.
