Helen Keller Deaf-Blind Awareness Week
This week starts Deaf-Blind Awareness Week. Starting in 1984, Deaf-Blind Awareness Week was created to honor the legacy of the famous author and deaf-blind activist, Helen Keller, and to bring awareness to those who experience combined both vision and hearing issues. To highlight this topic we have created an informational video regarding this topic using MedlinePlus.
World “No Tobacco” Day
While great efforts have been made to get people to quit or not take up smoking in recent years, still over 20% of Deaths in the United States are somehow related to tobacco.
