BEING On Stage: Acting for Entrepreneurs

Thursday, January 11th, 7:00-9:00pm

With so many people creating their own startup companies and changing jobs due to the economy, people find themselves in need of a certain new skill set which includes communicating powerfully and effectively in front of large groups of people often in the most stressful of situations.

This program answers the question: What’s the difference between a nice presentation and a passionate pitch?  The ability to reveal and demonstrate essence, the human element that shines only when you are completely free.  Utilizing guided imagination exercises, sensory and emotional exploration and performance feedback, you will begin to experience a powerful emotional connection to yourself and as a result a new and affecting connection with your potential clients, business associates and investors. (Come to the workshop with a pitch, a sales presentation – or a sentence or two to you can work with.)

Registration is required. Please call 203-426-8552 or email boothref@chboothlibrary.org

Snow date:  January 25th

The Library’s business programs are offered in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Newtown and the Newtown Economic Development Commission.
