Spooky Tales in Verse, told by Christian Hege

On Tuesday, October 29th at 6:30 in the Gathering Room, Christian Hege presents “Three Settings in Verse:”

“The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” – by Washington Irving. It’s been too long since you last heard this story. You need it again. And now that you’re all grown up, you may find you identify with Ichabod Crane.

“Josh, a Werewolf Story” – an original story by Mr. Hege. Josh is 13. Just when his body should be changing, his body is… changing

“The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar” – Edgar Allan Poe’s most terrifying.  Poe’s original was in the first person, so let’s just accept it as true. Retold in the third person, and set in the swirling milieu of science and junk science, in the mid-nineteenth century.
