Gentle Movement: Expanded Focus on Walking Mechanics
Thursday, June 20th from 2-3:00 in the Gathering Room. Sean Fitzpatrick, Personal Biomechanics Trainer and Health Coach, will lead us in practicing the fundamentals of strength, flexibility, and balance. Similar to last class, we will examine appropriate motions of all of the major joints and give examples of how to personalize exercise selections. We will set aside specific time to explore different aspects of our gait (walking strides) and how they relate to our overall function and fitness. All are welcome as we will take the time to explore different conditions, questions, and body types. Wear comfortable clothing and come ready to explore! Register please.
