Celebrate Diwali November 2 at the Library
Posted on On Saturday, November 2, the library will host a Diwali celebration for all ages. Young children (ages 3-5) can participate in a story time, followed by a craft in the library meeting room at 10:30 am. Older children and teens (ages 6 and up) can learn about the Diwali in the Gathering Room on the second floor at 10:30am. At 11:00 am, a henna artist will be creating simple designs for anyone 6 and up, but you must visit our calendar to register for an appointment with Jamilah. All ages are welcome to visit our photo booth and enjoy some traditional food in the meeting room from 11:15-12:30 pm.
