Modern American Beginnings: From Beautiful to Gritty


Wednesday, March 8th at 6:30 pm in the Meeting Room. ArtScapades returns to explore how a modern movement developed in our country, led by artists of the Ashcan School and The Eight. Works and lives of important artists of the period will be discussed, including those of George Bellows, Robert Henri, William Glackens, John Sloan, and Edward Hopper.
