Use Library ELF to track your library account. Library ELF is particularly useful for anyone who wants to reduce overdues and fines, for families with children and many items checked out, for people who use more than one library and for anyone who uses the library holds/requests system.
What is Library ELF?
Library ELF is a free service that Cyrenius H. Booth Library patrons can use to keep track of their borrowed items. Library ELF allows you to:
- Receive Email/RSS alerts for items before they become due or overdue.
- Receive alerts for availability of requested items placed on hold.
- Combine family cards into one notification message.
- Customize exactly how and when you want to be alerted.
Getting Started
- Signing up with Library ELF is simple. Have your library card bar code number ready (No PIN number is needed). Click here to sign up.
- Be sure to choose "CT-Bibliomation" from the list of libraries. Note you can register for alerts from more than one library. This is especially useful if a family member also uses a non-Bibliomation library, such as a college library.
- Please let us know that you have signed up for ELF. We will take you off our call list for Holds and not mail you paper overdues. Note: You will still receive a paper bill for items more than 3 weeks overdue.
Privacy Notice
Library ELF is a private service not affiliated with the Cyrenius H. Booth Library. Patrons use Library ELF at their own risk. Please read Library ELF's privacy policy and FAQ before signing up for the service.
